Lectors and Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communionback to top

St. Paul enjoys the services of a corps of Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist, some who also serve as lectors. This ministry assists our Pastor by preparing for Mass, setting up chalices, patens of altar bread, water, wine, etc. The eucharistic ministers assist at communion time by distributing Holy Communion in both forms. Lectors proclaim the reading. One can be both a lector and a minister.

Lectors and eucharistic ministers must be a Catholic of good standing, who regularly participate at Mass and other church services.

For more information on becoming a lector or eucharistic minister, call Bill Gifford at 443-1166.

Choirs/Cantoringback to top

The parish music program welcomes singers, cantors, and instrumentalists who desire to praise the Creator and enhance our corporate worship through music, both vocal and instrumental. There are musical opportunities for every interest and level of time of commitment.

If you are interested in joining the choir, stop by after Mass and talk with one of the members or contact Peggy Marruffo at 431-0454.

For more information, please contact Jonathan Myers at 474-1237 or the parish office 442-5313.

Ushersback to top

They greet us on our arrival and help us find adequate seating before the service begins. They also take up our offerings for the maintenance of our house of worship and the continuance of or mission as a parish. Their primary task is to assist us as we gather to worship together.

Interested parties may call the parish office at 442-5313.

Altar Serversback to top

Alter servers assist the priest-celebrant in a variety of ways during the Mass, carrying articles to be used, offering incense, preparing the altar for the Eucharistic sacrifice. Junior high students in sixth to eighth grade and high school students in our parish are offered the opportunity to be trained as altar servers.

Any questions, please contact the parish office at 442-5313.
